Joyce Perry , MBA, President / Owner
Joyce Perry, the founder of Tailor-Made Training, is a graduate of Katharine Gibbs School and began her career as an administrative assistant for over seven years before earning a Certificate in Secretarial Studies, an Associate in Science from CCRI, a Bachelor of Science from Bryant University, and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University. Early in her post-graduate career, she served as a buyer at General Dynamics, handling procurement of packaging supplies, computers, software, office equipment, and production-floor tools.
Over the years, Joyce transitioned into education, first joining Katharine Gibbs School as an adjunct faculty member in 1996, becoming a full-time instructor and, later, a Lead Instructor of the Office Administration Department. She taught a variety of business and Microsoft Office courses and coordinated student internships. After Gibbs College closed, she continued her teaching career at New Horizons Computer Learning Center and The Salter School. In 2008, she founded Tailor-Made Training, providing individualized on-site instruction—particularly for unemployed individuals and those with disabilities—supporting their workforce reentry with skills training, interview preparation, and job placement assistance.
Debra Baker brings over two decades of experience in the medical field, initially working as a transcriptionist at a hospital radiology department before advancing to a private radiology firm. There, she took on responsibilities in appointment scheduling, patient registration, medical billing, and coding, and led the secretarial team in developing centralized transcription and scheduling systems that boosted office efficiency. She ultimately became the office manager. Parallel to her administrative career, she developed and taught curriculum in Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Office Administration, and Professional Office Administration for an additional twenty years.
Driven by her passion for teaching, Debra transitioned to academic roles, starting as an adjunct instructor in medical transcription, then delivering full-time instruction in medical billing, coding, office procedures, practice management software, and EHR systems at vocational and technical institutes. When the Gibbs program closed, she moved on to develop and lead Medical & Dental Office Management courses at MTTI. She later directed the Medical Billing & Coding program at Sanford Brown Institute. In 2014, she joined Tailor‑Made Training, LLC., where she continues to instruct students in a supportive, one‑on‑one setting. She is also certified as a Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) through AMBA, a Registered Medical Coder (RMC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), and Certified Professional Coding Instructor (CPC‑I).

Norma M. Mousseau
Norma M. Mousseau has dedicated decades to education and public service, beginning with her academic pursuits at Bryant College, where she earned degrees in Business Administration. She furthered her expertise with certifications in consumer law and career guidance counseling. Her professional journey commenced in healthcare administration at Zambarano Hospital, followed by a role in the insurance sector with AMICA. Transitioning to education, she contributed to institutions such as St. Xavier Academy, Bishop Feehan High School, and St. Mary Academy Bay View, where she taught business and religion.
Mousseau's commitment to education extended to St. Raphael Academy, where she managed bookstore operations and taught for nearly two decades. She also held leadership roles at Katharine Gibbs School and Lincoln Technical Institute, focusing on business and computer literacy education. As the founding Head of School at Beacon Charter High School, she oversaw administrative and disciplinary functions. Her tenure as Director of Education at the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® involved curriculum development and staff leadership. In recent years, she has been actively involved at the Rhode Island Construction Training School and has taken on roles such as substitute teaching at the Paul Cuffee School. Currently, at Tailor-Made Training, she helps students study and pass the Driver's Education Exam to obtain their permit in the state of Rhode Island.
Giselda Del Prete is an accomplished educator and instructional designer with over 35 years of teaching experience and a decade dedicated to developing eLearning and curriculum solutions. Her expertise has supported major organizations, including NTT Data Services, Siemens Healthineers, ATR International, CVS Health, and Care New England. At Care New England, she also served as an Epic Ambulatory Training Coordinator. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from Merrimack College, a certificate in Instructional Technology Design from the University of Massachusetts, and additional certifications in training delivery and user experience from Bryant and Bentley Universities.
Giselda specializes in designing and implementing eLearning, virtual training, and performance support tools tailored for the healthcare sector, covering areas like medical billing, clinical workflows, and medical devices. She has developed role-based curricula, mentored students preparing for internships and careers, and created SharePoint sites to deliver microlearning and just-in-time resources. Her instructional approach incorporates modern learning principles and utilizes flipped classroom models. Additionally, she has led training teams, collaborated with subject matter experts, and partnered with local technical colleges to mentor students in the Epic electronic health system. Her teaching portfolio includes courses in medical terminology, phlebotomy, and anatomy and physiology at New England Institute of Technology and Katharine Gibbs College.
Nancy Pesaturo has worked for Tailor-Made Training for over 13 years, serving as the company's bookkeeper. She also trains students who prefer evening hours for training. She has over 25 years of experience in office management. She is a graduate of Katharine Gibbs School. She has taken several courses in accounting and QuickBooks at the Community College of Rhode Island. She has worked as an executive assistant for several attorneys in the State of Rhode Island, where she set up the office and served as the bookkeeper for the attorney with whom she worked. Nancy currently works for the Rhode Island Airport Corporation as a Project Accountant.

Desiree Martinelli's
Desiree Martinelli is a graduate of Katharine Gibbs School and studied at the University of Rhode Island. She is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. She has over 15 years' experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on sales and office management, working for companies such as Marriott, Hilton, and Omni Hotels. Desiree was the office manager, where she trained new employees and exceeded sales goals. She has training in customer service, sales, and management. Desiree has always had a passion for professional development and training her staff.
Tomi Costa has cultivated a robust career in student advising and career services, beginning as a Career Services Counselor and Employment Developer at Katharine Gibbs School. In this capacity, she managed an in-house employment agency, forging strong connections with students, alumni, and employers in fields such as legal, medical, and executive office administration. Her proactive approach included organizing company visits, guest lectures, seminars, and recruitment events to enhance job placement opportunities. Additionally, she contributed to student development by teaching courses on professional document preparation and delivering lectures on professional growth and interview techniques.
Advancing to the role of Director of Community Outreach & Alumni Relations at Gibbs College, Tomi expanded her focus to encompass community engagement and alumni relations. She established and nurtured partnerships with local businesses, medical facilities, and hospitals to create externships and employment opportunities for students and graduates. Her initiatives included coordinating on-campus events, volunteer programs, and service-learning projects to foster community involvement. Tomi also played a pivotal role in enhancing the institution's visibility by crafting press releases, hosting media events, and generating content for the school's website. Furthermore, she developed and executed continuing education workshops for programs such as Pharmacy Technician, Ultrasound Technology, and Massage Therapy. Complementing her work in student services, Tomi possesses extensive administrative experience, including executive-level support, and is proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
